In the painting, Cronus Devouring His Children by Francisco de Goya, the blood everywhere and the man with the long hair eating his child indicates the cruelty and lack of sympathy of an uncaring father.

Simple Sentence- Seagulls, as you know, never falter, never stall. Page 12
Complex Sentence- As he sank low in the water, a strange hollow voice sounded within him. Page 21
Compound Complex Sentence- When he came to, it was well after dark, and he floated in moonlight on the surface of the ocean. Page 21
The book Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach is about a seagull named Jonathan and he loves to fly, while the other seagulls are looking for food he is flying. He loves the view of the brilliant blue ocean water. The book states; when he came to, it was well after dark, and he floated in moonlight on the surface of the ocean. This book gives a lot of details about the way Jonathan was feeling about the other gulls and the sight that he sees around him. I like the way the book takes a break from using so much detail and puts pictures of the seagull flying and diving. I would only recommend this book to people who like wildlife and seagulls. If you are a fan of the ocean or beach, the book might make you feel like you are there.

The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet.
Aristotle
Aristotle was a Greek philosopher. He influenced the world because a lot of people read his work. Aristotle lived from 384 b.c. to 322 b.c. He wrote this to show that education starts very hard, but you get a great reward. People are also getting knowledge in other subjects. People will be proud of there accomplishments. The quote means that sometimes I have to go through something bad to get to something good. I picked this quote because it makes a lot of sense to me.
